ReplyDeleteI'm going to give A History of Just About Everything a rating of 10/10 because it was very informative. It showed me changes through time, and I became inspired by all the amazing people and their inventions. I especially liked the invention of the internet, the telephone, the airplane, and the printing press. I also really liked the interesting paragraphs on world war 1 and 2. Though, above all, the uses, advantages, and disadvantages of the discovery of FIRE were, in my opinion the best of all!

ReplyDeleteI give this book a 10 out of ten because I got to learn sooooooooooooo much about the history of the world. Like when the first man landed on the moon, when the vikings came to North America, world war 1 and 2, the printing press, the first water pump, when the Harry Potter books came out, the first animal cloned, and all the really inspiring people.
Raphaelle5A I rate this book ten out of ten because it had all the amazing details that you need about history that you need. I loved learning that each little detail of the past affected the future. My favorite parts of the book were when the printing press was invented and and the silk road came to use.

ReplyDeleteI give this book 10\10 because I learned a lot of new things like how the first robot in 1927 only had movable arms or that the atomic bomb ended world war ll in a very sad way. I liked how they included the dates, they were quiet helpful. Some like the Colombia blowing up and the all the terroists attacks very sad but I had NO idea that the Star Wars movies "revolutioniesed" movie making.

ReplyDeleteI will give this book 10/10 it was so good. Last time I read a book like that found it so boring, but this was a very good book. I learned about the events from millions of years ago. I learned about the printing press, wars, natural disasters, and so much more. I found the part where they talked about the earthquake in Japan that it moved the world forward in time by 1.8 trillionth of a second and 4m closer to North America

ReplyDeleteI give A History of Just About Everything a 10/10 because it was full of interesting facts. I liked how it showed the "ripples" of every event because some of the "ripples" were surprising such as how farming led to the making of cities. I liked how it gave events that you would and wouldn't know such as the creation of Jamestown, landing on the moon and the invention of insulin. A History of Just About Everything is for anyone who wants a lot of facts and events.
