ReplyDeleteMy rating for 'Cat Champions' is 8/10 because I enjoyed reading it, but some parts were glum because I knew the facts already. I liked the part when it says what the cats actions/sounds mean in cat language on the left side of one of the pages. I also really liked the pictures of cats inside, the ones of the cats jumping from the boats on to the dock, and the cat in the grass, stalking prey. The book taught me some new things about cats, good and bad things. One of the horrible things that broke my heart was the fact that when cat shelters got overflowed with cats they would put them down, which means that the people who work there, are killing older cats so they have room for new ones!!

ReplyDeleteI rate "Cat Champions" a 6 out of 10 because I leared alot about how to take care of my cat and all the amazing people who dedicate their lives to helping cats. I did fined it a bit boring at times. But there was a really interesting part when this cat was in a fire and the fire men got her out but she went back in to get all of her kittens one by one and did not stop till she had them all. In the process her face got burned but whith some sugery she is ok. After that, she got put up for adoption and so many people wanted her and her kittens and they all founed good homes. I also leared the process of adoption and that you have pay aroud 200 dollars.
Raphaelle5A. I rate this book 9 out of 10 because it was interesting. this book could get a little boring but it was still amazing. This book told me everything I needed to know about cats.I was a little sad to know that some cats need help and some are not put in good shelters. My favorite part was about all those caring people that worked hard to help cats, I also liked liked learning about a cat named Scarlet that got an injury in a fire but happily survived. This book is great for cat lovers.

ReplyDeleteWell I did not rely like this book I am going to give it 3/10. I did not really like this book because I do not like cats. But I liked learning about the different ways help people help cats. I liked that they organized the book in diffrent way people help cats. But I thought the book was very long and kind of boring. I wish it could have been about more animals. It helped me that they included funny pictures.

ReplyDeleteI give "Cat Champions" 8.5\10 because I really like cats and their one of my favorite animals. I found it interesting that there were so many random cats by the sea in Japan and people could just feed them without permission or a court order. I thought it was sad how SOOOOOO many cats are stranded or alley cats without a place to call home. It was surprising that you need to pay 200 dollars to adopt a cat. That pretty pricey.$$$$$$. If your a cat lover I recommend this book.
